  • Uganda, US Embassy: Retained by Morrison Knudsen Ltd for the supervision of the site investigation and, subsequently, to undertake concrete mix designs and onsite materials quality control during the actual construction of the project.
  • United Arab Emirates: Appointed by Con-Mix (UAE) Ltd to undertake an independent evaluation of concrete admixtures and pre-packed grouts intended for marketing within the East African region, culminating in the production of a detailed report on the materials performance.
  • Kenya. Mumias Sugar Co. Ltd: Appointed to undertake independent materials testing and inspection during the construction of a 60MW power Plant.
  • Kenya. Olkaria Geothermal Power Project: Appointed to undertake QA/QC program, including the overall control of an onsite materials testing laboratory purposely setup to design and monitor the materials used in the construction of the project.
  • Kenya. Ngong Wind Turbine: Contracted to undertake the initial site investigation followed by the design of suitable concrete mixes, trials on ground stabilization, and the  quality control during the construction phase.
  • Kenya: Times Tower. Nairobi. The largest building of its type in East Africa comprising the construction of a 38 storey office block. Our principal activities comprised the design of high strength concrete and the onsite planning and supervision of QC operations.
  • Kenya: Jomo Kenyatta International Airport: Retained as Independent Testing Authority for the designing and testing of materials used in the construction of Aprons, Taxiways, Fuel Hydrants and associated works.
  • Northern Sudan: Appointed by Baker Tilly Meralis on behalf of Sheikh Rashid of UAE to carryout a reconnaissance Survey for a proposed Agricultural Development in Almokadem Valley area, Northern Sudan.
  • Kenya: Appointed by Konoike Construction  Ltd. for the design of concrete and all Quality Control activities associated with the expansion of the existing Kapsabet Water  Project, including the provision of a mobile laboratory and technical personnel charged with undertaking the quality control operations on site.
  •  Kenya: Contracted by Sinohydro Corporation to undertake a Geotechnical Investigation in connection with the proposed Sangoro Hydro-electric Power Project.
  • Kenya: Site Investigation for the construction of a private power project on behalf of Ormat Ltd, together with the site investigation for 7Km Transmission Line.  This included materials evaluation, concrete mix designs, and soils analyses to determine the classification,  strength and allowable bearing values.
  • U.A.E: Appointed by Baker Tilly Meralis on behalf of Sheikh Rashid of UAE to carryout an evaluation of a proposed quarry development in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates.
  • Kenya: Contracted to China Wu Yi (K) Ltd. To offer technical advice on materials to be employed in the rehabilitation and expansion of Thika Road.
  • KenyaRetained asan Independent Materials Advisors for the supervision, testing and evaluation of materials including the design of self-compacting concrete used in the Port Expansion at Mombasa.
  • Kenya: Sondu-Miriu Hydropower Project: Provision of onsite Quality Control Services and management of materials laboratory throughout the construction sequence.
  • Sudan: Materials resource survey for proposed road network in Juba township, including the evaluation of potential quarrying deposits.
  • Kenya: Appointed by NJS Consultants (Japan) to undertake a Geotechnical Investigation and Water Quality Survey associated with the  expansion of the existing Embu Water Supply Project.
  • Kenya: Kisumu Airport : Retained by China Overseas Engineering Group as Independent Materials Advisors for the upgrading of Runway, Taxiway, Aprons, New Terminal and associated works, including, the design of pavement quality concrete and asphaltic concrete mixtures.
  • Kenya: Kipevu Power Project: Retained by H.Young & Co.Ltd for the design of concrete and the routine quality control of materials used in the Project.
  • Kenya: Mine Disposal Training Establishment. Nairobi: Appointed to undertake the quality control testing associated with the Project and to offer professional advice on the materials component of the project.
  • Kenya: Northern Corridor Route: Appointed by a South African Consultants to carry out a pavement condition survey, including Falling Weight Deflectometer analyses,  supported by a study of the existing soils and unbound pavement materials.
  • Kenya Ports Authority. Mombasa: Retained to undertake desk studies and concrete mix designs for the construction of an 85 metre high Surveillance Tower undertaken by slip form concrete techniques. In addition the concrete designs for the cast insitu piling operations.
  • Kenya: Contracted by Mabati Rolling Mills to undertake a detailed site investigation, supported by materials analyses for the proposed extension to the existing complex in Mombasa.
  • Sudan: Investigation of natural materials resources for the re-construction of Juba Township, supported by the investigations of potential quarrying deposits.
  • Kenya/Tanzania: Materials survey and advice on the construction of the Athi River-Namanga-Arusha Road Project
  • Kenya & Tanzania US Embassies: Appointed by the contractor to undertake materials resource survey and design of structural concrete used in the construction of the Embassy buildings. Subsequently, retained to design and supervise asphaltic mixes used in the construction of perimeter roads and other paved areas.
  • Kenya: Site Investigation for the construction of a New Cement Grinding Plant at East African Portland Cement Co. Ltd. Athi River.
  • Kenya: Appointed by Solel Boneh International Ltd. to offer technical advice on the quality and performance of stabilized road construction materials.
  • U.A.E: Appointed by Degussa MBT to undertake a detailed study of concrete admixtures, supported by a Technical Report.
  • Kenya: Materials resource survey for construction of the 300km Mandera-Wajir Road on behalf of Gibb Africa Ltd
  • Kenya: Appointed by Brolaz East Africa to undertake Geotechnical Investigations for the construction of Telecommunication Towers on behalf of Safaricom Kenya Limited and Econet.
  • KenyaRetained asan Independent Materials Advisor and Testing Laboratories for the Olkaria IV Geothermal Power Station expansion project.
  • Kenya: Appointed by Digitel Communications Co. Ltd. to undertake Geotechnical Investigations for the construction of Telecommunication Towers on behalf of Airtel Kenya Ltd.
  • Kenya: Mbagathi Way: Contracted to provide technical advice and concrete mix designs for an experimental section of concrete road, the first of its type in Kenya financed, in part, by the East African Cement Producers Association.
  • Rwanda: Appointed by Gibb (Africa) Ltd to undertake an independent evaluation of a site investigation undertaken by others and to analyse the data for the design of optional foundations, including, pad foundations, raft foundations and piling, including the assessment of expected settlements.
  • Kenya: Materials resource survey and advice on the construction of both the Athi & Ikuthu Bridge Projects funded by JICA ( Japanese Overseas Development Agency).
  • Kenya:  Materials evaluation of concrete mix design for the construction of the Japanese Embassy Building in Nairobi.
  • KenyaAppointed by Enterprise Generalle Malta Forrest Group asan Independent Materials Advisor and Testing Laboratories on the  Marsabit  Wind Turbine Project..
  • Southern Sudan: Retained by Arkel International to undertake site investigations and detailed study of soils intended for use in the construction of a military establishment.
  • Kenya: Retained by Epco Builders to undertake Materials Evaluation and Concrete Mix Designs for use in the extension of the NSSF Annex and Parking facilities in Nairobi.
  • Kenya: Appointed by Kunden Singh Ltd to advise on the proposed runway re-surfacing program and associated works at Wajir International Airport.
  • DRC Congo: Soils Analysis for Schurf RDC Project on behalf of Foundation Piling Limited.
  • RwandaAppointed byThomas & Piron Grands Lacsto undertakeQuality Inspection on the construction of the NSSF Building in Kigali.
  • Kenya: Site Investigation on behalf of Sony Holdings followed by materials evaluation and concrete mix designs for use in the construction of Westgate shopping  & office complex.
  • KenyaGeotechnical investigation for the construction of a proposed New Coal Mill Handling System for East African Portland Cement Co. Ltd.
  • South Africa: Appointed by Grace Construction Chemicals to carryout an appraisal, complete with full-scale concrete mix designs on concrete admixtures intended for marketing in the East African region.
  • Tanzania: Independent materials resources survey for the proposed rehabilitation of 200km Mwanza – Nzege – Tinde -Isaka Road on behalf of Louis Berger of Paris.
  • Kenya:  Appointed by TPF – Ecoloner / EGMF to undertake Site Investigation supported by materials testing and design recommendations for the construction of V52-850 kW Wind Turbines at the Ngong Hills.
  • Rwanda: Pre-Tender evaluation of materials resources for use in the rehabilitation of roads and airport in Kigali.
  • KenyaRetained by Konoike-Taisei JV for the design of concrete and all Quality Control Activities associated with Phase II of Sondu–Miriu Hydropower Project.
  • KenyaSite Investigation, supported by materials testing and design recommendations for Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the Oserian Power Project.
  • U.A.E.: Appointed by Baker Tilly Meralis to carryout an evaluation of a proposed quarry development in Al Fujairah, United Arab Emirates.
  • Kenya: Engaged as Independent Testing Laboratories for the  construction of Taxiways, Aprons and associated works, at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. .
  • Kenya: Retained by H.Young & Co. Ltd to research and produce the latest innovation of concrete at KPA-Mombasa; which was designed to be self compacting and self leveling; the first of its kind in Africa.
  • Uganda: Busia/Malaba-Bigiri Road investigation into the cause of premature failure of the bituminous pavement and re-design of asphalt used for repair of defects.
